What to Agree Before a Bulk Cleaning Wipe Order
The sample looks right. What should we agree on before the bulk order?
When assessing cleaning wipes, I would look beyond colour and hand feel.
My checklist would include:
• Fibre composition and GSM, with agreed tolerances
• Sheet size and count
• Absorbency and wet strength for the intended task
• Folding, perforation and packaging requirements
I would also keep an approved reference sample and record how performance will be checked.
“Same as the sample” leaves room for different interpretations. A clear specification gives both buyer and supplier something concrete to work against.
My view: spending a little more time defining acceptance criteria before production can make the next conversation much easier.
