Why a Photograph Cannot Confirm a Wipe Specification
Can you confirm a cleaning wipe is an exact match from a photograph?
My answer would be: a photo is a useful starting point, but I would need more information before confirming a match.
A similar blue wave pattern does not tell me the fibre blend, GSM or performance in use.
I would suggest three steps:
• Confirm the written specification and intended cleaning task.
• Compare a physical reference sample with the proposed alternative.
• Agree on the checks needed before approving a trial.
If the original specification is incomplete, I would clearly identify what is confirmed and what still needs checking.
That gives the buyer a clearer basis for a benchmark—and helps avoid surprises later.
Which is usually easier for your team to share first: a specification sheet or a reference sample?
